I first used Ice baths with my athletes back in 2001 and I've written about the use of cryotherapy and recovery and regeneration extensively, but it seems that every year the public fascination grows and it's usually fed by images and articles in the popular press.
If you want to wobble around on a stability ball then join the circus. If however you want to have a strong and stable core then make sure you add this simple and highly effective sequence of exercises to your training programme.

Sounds too good to be true...well there may be some truth in the title of this post. Success has less to do with training and more to do with your ability to recover from training. Recovery is essential in a volume based sport such as triathlon. If all you do is train hard then you are missing a trick and will never reach your potential.

Now you have to say that title in a John Wayne voice (I'm thinking that it may only be me that finds that funny)...anyway...this is a very quick post because I still can't believe there is anyone out there on this site that doesn't understand the benefits of resistance training.
