I was (quite) a bit a behind you, but didn't enjoy the conditions under foot either. I was on and off the grass going out and I held back during the last k along the paths as I didn't want to risk turning my ankle. Fingers crossed for better conditions this weekend.

Did you enjoy Parkrun on Saturday? Was it not a bit short for you?

ummmm me and running. The ride is for a boy with cerebral Palsy. Its to raise enough money so he can have an op in America which will enable him to walk. Google 'Callums wish to walk' you should find it. What is the run and do u fancy riding?

Hi Phil,

Just had the results back from my MRI scan,it shows that i have a disc protruding from the lumbar vertebra 4 and 5 which seems to be compressing on one of the nerves on the left hand side.I must admit my back is a lot better as i am back training now,not 100% but i am  able to train which is great, the doctor said that i can see a consultant if i want to,so i will need to think about it as i dont really want to go under the knife.

Race was good for me but if you ask Ian, it was brilliant (rose tinted spectacles if you ask me!) Ian is already planning his trip to Clearwater and I think he is about an inch taller than normal at the moment with the way he is strutting about. Could you do me a favour and beat him in a race or something to bring him back down to earth? He is looking at TT bikes, the lot - I think we will be destitute by the time mid November comes around!
